If you have seen a picture of a dress that inspires you, or you would like to design your own, Find a Dress can create a bespoke dress especially for you. Below, you will see the whole process taking place, from making a test dress to production of the real thing!
In this example, the 2 pictures above show the initial design which inspired our customer. She was looking for a dress similar to this, with a sweetheart neckline, and chose white as her preferred colour.
The first stage of the production process begins by the designer making a new pattern and a test dress. This stage will take around 4 weeks to complete. Once the test dress is ready, we will send you pictures for your approval. Minor changes are welcome at this stage. Once the test dress is finalised to your satisfaction, we move on to the production of the real dress.
At any given point during the production that we need your approval e.g. beading, neckline, pleats etc, we will send you pictures and wait for approval or changes.
We continue with this until the dress is 100% complete.
The whole process takes approximately 16 weeks, so please be sure to allow plenty of time if you choose this option.
